  My husband and I had dinner here Thursday August 7, 2014 and would definitely recommend it if you want a nice meal. It's west of Janesville and my husband thought we had missed it when we got out into the country, but we kept going and found it shortly after we joined Highway 11. We enjoy supper clubs when ever we are traveling in Wisconsin and this experience continued the tradition. The interior was dated but clean. Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful, checking with the kitchen multiple times for me with my questions about what they could make gluten free and making sure all was well with our dinners. I had the walleye and my husband had the NY Strip steak. He started with a beef, wild rice vegetable soup that he said was definitely homemade and delicious. I had the salad, and was pleasantly surprised that is wasn't just iceberg lettuce. There were also baby greens, carrots, red cabbage,chopped egg, and cheddar cheese. Within 5 minutes of finishing our soup and salad, our entrees arrived. We had both ordered the garlic Parmesan mashed potatoes and they were delicious. My husband's steak was rare, just as he had ordered and the waitress was happy to oblige when he asked for creamy horseradish, and my walleye was amazing--pan fried to perfection. My husband ordered the turtle cheesecake, and it was easy to finish. Thursday was crab leg night so that's what many people were eating. They have different specials every night, and their prices are reasonable. We will be back again next time we are in the area.

  The corned beef and cabbage dinner on 3/17/16 was beyond delicious! ! The meat was prepared perfectly and not fatty. The carrots were cooked to perfection. It was the best St. Patrick's day dinner in the history of EVER. I highly recommend trying Helgensen's Harpo's.
